Plaintiff: Editor vs Defendant: Story Teller

Oh dear.   As I am nearing the final part of the editing of my story I have come to the realisation that I have developed a completely different personna from that enthusiastic creator of my NaNoWriMo journey.

Romance Genre - Oops ... the Sex Scene

I actually haven't yet read the successful book "50 Shades of Grey".  It is, however, downloaded onto hubby's Kindle.

As a writer in the romance genre, it is necessary to include in adult fiction .... oops....  the Sex Scene.  In the book I am creating now, there are a few scenes of a sexual nature, and they are most certainly integral in my story and not added for any other reason.

The Big Edit - Part 2 - The Jigsaw

A very important aspect and which I, to a large extent, did not realise would entail so much thought, was the chapter order.  After NaNoWriMo, I opted to create many new chapters.  After doing so, and on such completion, there became the question of "exactly where best to slot these new chapters into my already created document".   Therefore when I did eventually decide, I had in the process created the necessity for new edits in many of the already existing chapters.
